Pretty Girls

So this is Wale Folarin's New video for the song "Pretty Girls"

Personally i enjoyed the video. It is simple but yet helps visualize the lyrics.

Alot of people who have seen the video complained that "it does not show a good representation of the MANY dark skin pretty girls."

Although that is true. There is no way anyone should critize the artist for something he did not have control over.
The females picked or the video most likely came from the directors, who have creative control.
Also WALE did have casting call which was opened to all females, so maybe majority light skins showed up.

Also i think this goes beyond the video
Society does portray a "attractive" female as one who is of light skin.
What people fail to realize is if you stick up for your beliefs and start DEMANDING rather that COMPLINING you will see results.
The war between LIGHT AND DARK is a long standing one.
But as long a their is a "WAR" No one really wins.
